Michael Muto has been plumbing for over 20 years, starting out as an apprentice with an expert plumber and working his way up. He has spent time mastering service, commercial, residential, and construction plumbing, as well as remodels. The team he has built has over 100 years of collective experience and specializes in problem-solving all kinds of plumbing scenarios. Adolfo was a great plumber. I needed immediate attention and he was here in an hour… He was able to cap off my shower faucet so I could get the rest of the home’s water running. He replaced the shower the next day with no problems. Adolfo was thoughtful and courteous. I would definitely use true plumbing again.
I want to give the staff at True Plumbing my highest compliment. This morning i realized after trying to take out washer hoses that they were old and corroded i went to google & found True Plumbing. I called & their customer service was very nice & helpful & she was able to schedule me in today. I got a text from their teck Adolfo before he got to my house, he was very respectful & polite & explained everything he was going to do. He even helped me take washer out to living room from laundry room. He explained wich one was hot & cold after he finished. Would definitely recommend Adolfo & True Plumbing. Nicandro Sidon
We called True Plumbing to inspect a water heater that stopped working unexpectedly. True’s plumber, Donn, came out the next day and replaced our water heater. He first told us we could repair the part that had failed however we decided to replace instead. Because Donn had been professional, an excellent technician, and a clean worker, we asked him to prepare a proposal to fix several other plumbing items in our house. We received his proposal the next day. We contacted True and scheduled an appointment to perform the additional work and requested Donn as the tech. Donn arrived just after 8am three days later and performed all of the requested items. He was just as pleasant, capable and organized as during his initial visit. It’s comforting when you find a go-to vendor for items that you cannot (or prefer not to) do yourself. We’ll contact True Plumbing and request Donn if we have future plumbing issues.
I am extremely disappointed to write this review and even more disappointed to end a decade-long loyalty to True Plumbing. They changed ownership in November 2023; this was my first time calling them since the change. It is a stark contrast to what they once were--reliable, fair, exemplary. I recommended them to every friend and neighbor who asked for a plumbing reference (and even those who didn't ask). I was a huge fan! We had a dripping shower head. The tech came out and diagnosed it as needing a shower valve cartridge replaced. His quote for service was $831. This sounded unusual and extreme. Upon further investigation, I found that the Delta shower valve cartridge (pre-2006) was available at Lowes for $65.98, it takes approximately 30 minutes to replace the valve cartridge, and the average cost for a plumber to do so is about $300. I would have gladly paid this amount, as I do appreciate the knowledge and experience that goes into learning the trade. I called the company just to confirm this was truly an accurate quote. I referenced a receipt from approximately 2 years ago from the same company, in which 4 sink cartridges (plus 2 toilet flappers) were replaced. The total cost was $190. To further sour the experience, I was charged a $75 dispatch fee for the tech to come out for five minutes to diagnose the problem. This appears to be a win-win for True Plumbing: either a $500+ markup on the service, or a quick and easy $75 for a five-minute visit. I am beyond disappointed.
We had a leaky faucet and really low water pressure in our shower. I was able to get an appointment right away. Bert was on time and able to diagnose the problem and fix it right away. He was very easy to work with and knowledgeable. This is a very efficient and honest company. I will definitely use this company for all my plumbing needs!
