    I LOVED the fact that Beau had installed Sunrun products on his dad's house. He was so patient with all my questions. His original analysis of how many panels were needed on our house was perfect! He did not try to sell us more. Found Sunrun through COSTCO. Felt that it was an endorsement. Came to the house with a thorough explanation and analysis of our needs. Kept us totally informed, step by step, during install. It's been over 5 years, and I can still call with questions!

    This company has no accountability. I recently contacted Sunrun about burned wires on the solar panel that was discovered during a roof replacement. The customer service agent agreed that this something that is under warranty and could be reimbursed. Additionally, the customer service agent reviewed my solar production history and discovered that over the course of my 5 years as a customer, I've had a cumulative 1.5 years where the panels were producing zero solar energy, this resulted in electricity bills over $900. The agent stated that I had a strong case to be reimbursed for those inactive periods because the contract I signed stated that Sunrun was responsible for actively monitoring my solar production to prevent periods of inactivity. The agent stated that a case manager would reach out to me in the next 48 hours. Over the past week I've reached back to Sunrun via email and phone calls for a update, however I still have not been contacted by a case manager.

    From start to finish this has been a great experience. I was very reluctant to go through with this decision; in-fact, I’ve backed out of other Solar providers before. Brandi and Liana were very knowledgeable and helpful with me in understanding the entire process and helping me realize what my future savings would actually look like. The installation crew were all super friendly and gave me a thorough job site walk through and “mission brief”. All around great at what they do. Brandi was incredible every step of the way. She was very informative and wanted to make absolutely sure that we were comfortable with the decision, she made herself available for questions without fail and was responsive in a timely manner. That was before the installation. Today I witnessed Brandi in her true professional form when a special needs person that I do not know walked onto my property and was approaching the installation crew in a manor in which they were clearly uncomfortable with. The job was called to a safety stop by the installation crew leader who also acted as professional and patient as possible. Brandi immediately intervened and took control of the situation with care and awareness of the persons disability. I truly believe she would be a go-to candidate for Sunrun to consider a promoted position training everyone in the company on awareness for special needs people. It was really a sight to see. No one on the job site was capable of handling that situation and it should not go without special recognition. Brandi and I walked this individual home to his family members who were also grateful. She even gave the young man a Gatorade. A true class act!

    Extremely disappointed. Our solar finally began 3 months ago. We have 16 panels up and we are still paying SDGE the same amount as before on top of the $250 solar payment. Solar was supposed to save us money and we are paying more. The only person that's responding is david Moore. The main guy that sold us the panels has not responded to my email and with every day that passes we are getting charged for both. They told us that they would be in touch after the panels were running to make sure we weren't going over, and decide whether to add more panels or not. its been 3 months and $1000 later to our power company and no response. When i called to see if we were going over our usage, the rep over the phone said no and we should have power saved on the battery. The 2nd and 3rd rep said yes, we are going over. it was recommended that we have a tech come out to make sure it's working properly, but if it's working fine than we will be charged.. that's crazy. No one (other than Dave) seems to make us a priority. Customer service gives us different answers and tell us to refer to the app but the app doesn't say we are over or under. No one explained how to understand "the chart". Of course the communication from Run was amazing when they were trying to sell us the panels but now that we signed the contract, we were left high and dry. I even got my mother in law to go with sunrun and she had her own set of issues. i was willing to leave business cards at my business to refer sunrun to my customers but I can't do that given the poor customer service. We are extremely disappointed and tired of businesses promising follow through and then disappearing once they get their money. I will pursue this further at whatever lengths I need to go. I will not pay double when I'm supposed to be saving money. on top of that, they did not give us power to an essential area of our home during a blackout, like they promised. We had zero power to our kitchen, which is an essential area, and they falsely advertised that to us in their brochure. We had them at our prior home and they rectified the issue a year later. No way will a wait that long this time. If I don't get a solution in the next few days, I will do what's necessary. Make sure you get every promise written on paper if you decide to go with them. At this point, I can't recommend them

    Billy was an All Star. To begin, he showed up on a Sunday morning. I did not expect that at all and was impressed when he showed up ready to help. Billy was very patient, helpful and pleasant throughout the entire experience. He was very good at answering my many questions as well. I appreciated his calm demeanor and helpful way of answering my questions. I look forward to our next call in a few months when I have a better idea about my energy usage. Oh yeah, no hard sale from Billy. If everything adds up, Billy will be the one I call first to go Solar.
