    General good service when under warranty if you can get somebody to respond.After warranty you can wait a minimum of 4 weeks for a response,I have to move 4 panels for roof repair and am still waiting for some kind of a response of an estimate for this project from Sunrun. As a result of this wait I hired an independent contractor to start the required work.While removing the said panels he noticed some charred in spots on the back side of a panel ,looked as if it would start a roof fire. Sorry Sunrun you lost a not patient customer. We have our system since 2011.

    I have been working with Sunrun for about 2 years now. Like the other reviews state they have zero accountability and communication. I have been referred to several individuals who have not contacted me back. My machine completely turned off about 2 months ago and I have attempted to contact several times to fix the issue. Update: The email that was given is not in service and bounced my emails back. I also have not found a way to private message you. Since then my battery has been replaced and my bill has dropped significantly since the system is now functioning properly. Today I asked for compensation for the lack of communication and increased bills. The case manager that was on my case I have never talked to although I attempted several times within the three months. I feel that I have not been taken seriously throughout this entire process specifically with the higher ups that I have spoken to. The technicians and customer service representatives have done great through this process. On the phone I have been told that my bill has been normal for the past few years and I have no case. I just wish I was taken seriously, my time was respected and I was talked to with respect.

    Warning About Sunrun Solar Panels – My Experience Dear Friends and Neighbors, I want to share my unfortunate experience with Sunrun (solar panels) to help you avoid the frustration I’ve gone through. I have been a customer with Sunrun for about three years, but for the past ten months, their solar system has not been working. Despite the system failure and my repeated requests to stop payments until they fix the issue, they continue to charge me monthly for a service I am not receiving. Their customer service has been unhelpful, and they show no urgency in resolving the problem. I feel trapped in a 20 year contract with a company that does not care about its customers. Please be cautious if you are considering Sunrun for your solar needs. Based on my experience, their service is unreliable, and they prioritize payments over customer satisfaction. I hope sharing my experience helps you make an informed decision.

    At first we were very skeptical with getting solar panels. Our first experience with trying to get solar panels was a bit rocky. With the help of Alexa, our experience with Sun Run has been great! Alexa made the process super nice and easy. Alexa answered all of our questions, was very reliable and most of all kept us up to date with the project. Thank you!!

    This company has no accountability. I recently contacted Sunrun about burned wires on the solar panel that was discovered during a roof replacement. The customer service agent agreed that this something that is under warranty and could be reimbursed. Additionally, the customer service agent reviewed my solar production history and discovered that over the course of my 5 years as a customer, I've had a cumulative 1.5 years where the panels were producing zero solar energy, this resulted in electricity bills over $900. The agent stated that I had a strong case to be reimbursed for those inactive periods because the contract I signed stated that Sunrun was responsible for actively monitoring my solar production to prevent periods of inactivity. The agent stated that a case manager would reach out to me in the next 48 hours. Over the past week I've reached back to Sunrun via email and phone calls for a update, however I still have not been contacted by a case manager.
